That’s the wacky idea floated by Briggs in an Instagram live video recently.

Boxing fans around the world are getting excited that Iron Mike could return to the sport that saw him feared for years.

The iconic puncher, now 53, has revealed he will make a comeback – 15 years after retiring – to compete in exhibition bouts for charity.

But after showing off some fearsome hand-speed in a lockdown training session recently, some are suggesting he could return as a pro.

He has even been offered $1million to fight rugby union star Sonny Bill Williams, who has had seven pro fights himself, all wins.

Tyson has also been offered a rematch by Danny Williams – 16 years after being knocked out by the Brit.

Williams, 46, had a record 31-3 at the time he shocked Tyson but has lost 25 times since, fighting as recently as November in Germany.

Now heavyweight Briggs, 48, who is not yet retired from boxing despite not fighting for three years, has come up with a plan.

Mike Tyson shows off unbelievable speed aged 53 as heavyweight legend gears up for sensational boxing return

In a video he shared on Insta, ‘The Cannon’ said: “I talked to Mike [Tyson], we’re talking about it, if we can bring it into fruition then it’s a go.

“We’re better all put in as a tag team, Mike Tyson and Shannon Briggs verses the Klitschko brothers, or David Haye, let him replace his brother.

“Tag team literally, you could tag them in like (you see in) wrestling.”

David Haye, the former WBA heavyweight champion, retired in 2018 after two devastating defeats to Brit rival Tony Bellew.

Wladimir Klitschko called it quits in 2017 after being KO’d by Anthony Joshua in front of 80,000 at Wembley Stadium.

He famously easily outpointed Haye in 2011 with the Brit blaming the defeat on a broken little toe.

And his brother Vitali retired as WBC champ in 2012 to pursue a career in politics in his native Ukraine.
