A SIX-YEAR-OLD boy in Italy is celebrating after his football shirt design was adopted by the professional team Pescara.
Luigi D’Agostino was the winner of a competition run by the club for young fans.

A boy, aged six, has won a competition in Italy for his team to wear a shirt designed by him next season
The aim was to help cure the boredom of being on lockdown amid the nation’s coronavirus crisis.
The motto of the competition was “give a kick to Covid-19”.
Luigi designed a beautiful kit featuring the club’s dolphin mascot and a rainbow which has become a symbol of hope and unity during the current crisis.
Players of the Serie B team will wear Luigi’s creation next season.
Pescara have spent just seven campaigns in the Italian top-flight, Serie A, in its history.
The club’s mascot is a dolphin due to its location in an Adriatic resort town famous for its beaches.
Italian sports manufacturer Errea are making the shirts.
