CRISTIANO RONALDO headed “home” to his boyhood club Nacional while on lockdown in Maderia.
The Portuguese megastar is riding out the coronavirus pandemic with his family on the island he grew up on and nipped down to his old team to have a look around.

The Portuguese megastar is on lockdown in Madeira where he grew up and he posted the snaps to his Instagram
Portugal – unlike the UK – is not on full lockdown so CR7 was not breaking any rules.
But he was still criticised in some circles after he was spotted working out at Nacional’s training complex last week.
Ronaldo represented the second-tier side between 1995 and 1997 as a junior before moving onto Sporting Lisbon and was given permission to use their facilities by club president Rui Alves.
Alves clearly has a soft spot for the Nacional old boy telling TuttoSport: “Cris was our boy and is now the best possible example for the Academia del Nacional. It is a model for the whole world.

The 34-year-old has been locking himself away with his Spanish girlfriend Georgina Rodriguez and the pair were recently filmed doing brutal hill sprints as the Juve star tries to stay in shape.
But he allowed himself a break to visit his old team and shared some snaps on Instagram of him in the club museum.
In one picture he is seen next to a cabinet including pictures of himself as a youngster.
And another is captioned: “It’s always good to come back home @CDNacional.”
Nacional quickly replied and said: “You’re always welcome in your home.”
