KEVIN DE BRUYNE has vowed to extend his career by two years as he is missing football during the coronavirus lockdown.
The City ace has been forced to rethink his retirement plans after the killer bug put football across Europe on standby.

The Belgian midfielder, 28, has decided to play on for longer than he planned after discussing his future with wife Michele.
He was sidelined for a large chunk of last season due to a serious knee injury and now the outbreak of the coronavirus has left him missing out once again.

The Premier League is currently suspended until April 30, so the 28-year-old has been in lockdown with his family in their Manchester home.
The Belgian admitted the postponement of football indefinitely has left him frustrated but insisted there are far bigger issues to be worrying about.
On Instagram Live, De Bruyne said: “I told my wife I’m going to play a little longer.
“After this lockdown, I cannot stay at home. I told her I’m going to take two years more.
“It’s time to play football again. I miss it and it’s difficult but we are not important, football is not important. People love football, but you need to stay safe.”
De Bruyne has been superb again this season after missing much of last term with injury.
He has bagged eight goals and 16 assists in the Prem this campaign, and picked up an eighth major trophy with the club in their Carabao Cup victory over Aston Villa in February.
The City talisman played a key role as Pep Guardiola’s men advanced to the Champions League knockout stages and FA Cup quarter-finals, most notably oozing quality the last-16 first-leg win over Real Madrid.
And he has even backed himself to knock Cristiano Ronaldo and Lionel Messi off their Ballon d’Or perches.
