Sure, it might not quite be Chris Finch throwing a kettle over a pub in Chichester.
But fans are purring at the accuracy of the Brazilian’s lobbing skills nonetheless.
In a video posted to his Instagram account, the Liverpool star can be seen facing his house while holding a football in his plush back garden.
The Reds’ No1, wearing a green tracksuit and a beanie hat, then nonchalantly paces forward… before arrowing an amazing throw towards the property.
It arcs and swerves perfectly into the house’s skylight.
And in celebration, the 6ft 3in stopper jogs across the garden, before turning around and performing Cristiano Ronaldo’s trademark “Siuuu” celebration.
He captioned the video with the sentence: “Quarantine effect!! #AB1challenge”.

And his followers were clearly impressed by this showcase of Alisson’s skills.
One wrote: “World best” followed by three heart emojis.
And another echoed that sentiment by commenting: “Best goal keeper in the world.”
Some others commented “@Cristiano”, clearly wanting the five-time Ballon d’Or winner’s take on Alisson’s attempt at his celebration.
The Liverpool ‘keeper isn’t the only footballer that has taken to social media for a bit of fun during the suspension of the Premier League.

Players including Marcus Rashford, Tammy Abraham and Bruno Fernandes have all taken the part in the “loo roll challenge”, in which they record themselves doing a number of keepy-ups with toilet paper.
Merseyside rival Andre Gomes took it to a whole new level, however, when he paid tribute to Covid-19 sufferer Tom Hanks by recreating his iconic Cast Away role in his back garden.
The Premier League is currently suspended until April 30.
