Robbie and his family have, like most Irish people, been very dedicated in following the government’s advice to stay home as much as possible in order to limit the spread of Covid-19.

He said: “I just want to thank you on behalf of myself and my family.
“All the doctors, the nurses, the carers, everybody associated with the hospitals.
“Putting your lives at risk to save ours. We really appreciate it.”
His wife Claudine added: “Thank you so much. You’re an inspiration to us all.

“We really appreciate it.”
Keane then said “you guys are the real heroes” as his two young boys enthusiastically agreed.
