Tyson Fury and WOW HYDRATE are donating tens of thousands of drinks to NHS workers

And the great British public showed their appreciation with an epic round of applause on Thursday evening as the clocks struck 8pm.

But Fury is ready to provide thousands of electrolyte water drinks from sponsors WOW HYDRATE to help NHS workers continue the fight against COVID-19.

The WBC world heavyweight champion said: “It’s such a difficult time for everyone across the world at the moment.

“In this country the NHS workers, as always, are being amazing and truly inspirational in the work they are doing.

“I have been told that NHS workers are getting lots of food donations but not enough drinks.

“So I contacted my sponsors WOW HYDRATE and we have agreed to donate tens of thousands of Electrolyte Water drinks.

“The giveaway has worked well so far in a number of London facilities.

“We are all delighted that we can do little bit to help the amazing NHS workers stay healthy and hydrated by providing drinks high in vitamins B6, C and D which along with Electrolytes boosts immunity and aids recovery.”

Meanwhile, Fury’s third fight against Deontay Wilder will take place on October 3 in Las Vegas.

The pair had been tipped to meet in July following last month’s Sin City clash which saw Fury reclaim his WBC belt in a one-sided affair.

But with coronavirus shutting down public events around the world, Fury vs Wilder 3 was moved back to later in the year.
