Boxing calendar 2020 and rescheduled dates – Joshua vs Pulev, Fury vs Wilder 3, Whyte vs Povetkin LATEST


2020 was set to be another golden year for boxing – until the killer coronavirus pandemic.

But promoters have said the massive cards over the next few months – including Anthony Joshua vs Kubrat Pulev, Dillian Whye vs Alexander Povetkin and Tyson Fury vs Deontay Wilder 3 – will still be happening at a later date this year.

Matchroom promoter Eddie Hearn has conceded that boxing will not be back until June at the earliest, meaning his May fights including Whyte vs Povetkin and Derek Chisora vs Oleksandr Usyk are set to be officially postponed.

Hearn said: “The earliest boxing is going to start again is June.

“The earliest, in my opinion, so that’s why the shows in May we have to look at and come up with alternative dates.”
