NEWCASTLE are leading a trio of Premier League rivals in the race for Marc Guehi.

The Crystal Palace defender, 24, has attracted interest from Tottenham, Chelsea and Manchester City.

Guehi will have one year left on his deal in the summer, meaning this is the Eagles’ last chance to cash in.

Newcastle saw a £70million bid knocked back for the England international last summer.

Palace opted to sell Joachim Andersen to Fulham for £30m instead.

Spurs also failed in a bid for Guehi during the January window.

They saw a similar offer rejected due to the terms – and the late approach.

Chelsea have been keen on bringing their former academy player back to the club as Enzo Maresca looks to bolster his back line.

The Italian wants to add a defender who is comfortable on the ball.

Maresca is also a big fan of Bournemouth’s £50m man Dean Huijsen.

However, the Blues face plenty of competition there.

Guehi has played 41 games for the South London side this season, including 32 league games which have seen him score three goals.

The former Swansea loanee has cemented his spot in the England set-up since joining Palace in 2021.

He made his Three Lions debut under Gareth Southgate in 2022 and started all of England’s games at Euro 2024 except for the quarter-finals against Switzerland when he was suspended.
