Al-Nassr boasted a team packed with top talent including ex-Liverpool star Sadio Mane and former Aston Villa striker Jhon Duran.

But despite having 21 shots and 75 per cent possession, Ronaldo’s men crashed to a 3-2 loss against their lowly opponents.

And it means he is set to end the season without a trophy, with Al-Nassr third in the Saudi Pro League and also out of the King’s Cup.

Ronaldo, 40, has won just one single trophy since joining in December 2022 following his Manchester United exit, landing the Arab Club Champions Cup eight months later.
