Viddal Riley reveals the rival he wants manager Anthony Joshua to fight next if Tyson Fury stays retired

VIDDAL RILEY has the perfect fight to pitch to his boss Anthony Joshua IF Tyson Fury remains retired.

AJ saw his Great British blockbuster KO’d after Fury retired in January and the unpredictable Gypsy King – so far at least – looks to be keeping to his word with no return in sight just yet.

So Riley – managed by Joshua’s 258 Management company – named Deontay Wilder as the next best opponent for his gaffer.

Cruiserweight Riley told SunSport: “If it’s not Fury, I would like it to be Wilder.

“At this stage in his career, I feel like it’s more so having the fights that people have wanted for a long time.

“You know, having those fights, because people still want to see them, there’ll still be massive events, massive occasions.

“So it’s more about fighting the people of his generation, the most exciting fights, the biggest fights, that’s what I’d like to see him do.

“But as a fan then a Fury fight, a Wilder fight – those ones will, will get people going.”

Fury, 36, lost to Oleksandr Usyk in May and then in their December rematch and has not been seen in a boxing ring since.

Spurs-mad Viddal Riley out for North London bragging rights against Arsenal fan Chev Clark after aiming Declan Rice dig

Spurs fan Riley is back in the ring on Saturday night at Tottenham’s stadium against Arsenal supporter Chev Clarke, 34.

They fight for the British cruiserweight title on the undercard of Chris Eubank Jr vs Conor Benn – with 12-0 Riley hoping AJ will be in the house.

He said: “I don’t know, maybe he should be there. It’s an event to be at, you know what I mean?

“It’s a big event to be at. So if he is there, and he can get there a bit early to see me throw some smoke in person, that’ll be nice.”
