Chisora and pro boxer Virgo are training partners at the London Shootfighters gym in North West London.

And Chisora, 41, said in a video: “Ty Mitchell, my boy’s going to smoke you out. He’s going to smoke you out. My guy’s going to smoke you out.

“Let’s go champ! Let’s go champ!”

Mitchell, 34, responded: “My old boy, Derek. Listen, you don’t believe that, man. You know you don’t believe it.

“Listen, if you believe he’s going to beat me, put a wager on it then. Ten grand, 20 grand, 30 grand, 50 grand?

“You let me know what you want to bet if you think your boy is going to beat me.

“I know you’ve got a lot of money because you made a lot when my boy Tyson spanked you.

“So listen, let’s see if you really think he’s going to beat me. Name the price and I’ll match it.”

The two then shared a FaceTime call, both smiling, with Mitchell posting: “Don’t let Insta fool you he’s a marketing genius.”

Mitchell made his pro debut in 2010 and had a 3-2 record before being jailed for manslaughter.

KSI’s sparring partner says he snubbed Love Island return to focus on Misfits Boxing and reveals how hard YouTuber hits

He fatally punched 19-year-old student Jagdip Randhawa in 2011 and was sentenced to seven years behind bars.

Mitchell was denied a pro licence from the British Boxing Board of Control and instead fought on the unlicensed circuit.

He was signed by Misfits – the home to celebrity-style crossover bouts and headed up by KSI – last year and beat Tommy Hench in his debut.

Virgo on the other hand has had 12 pro bouts with one draw before also signing with Misfits after a 2018 stint on Love Island.

He has had four Misfits wins including against MMA star Anthony Taylor, Geordie Shore’s Aaron Chalmers and ex-UFC champion Benson Henderson.

Virgo – who recently welcomed his first child and son into the world – also snubbed a Love Island return for the fight with Mitchell.

He told SunSport: “I could have taken the chance to risk going on the show and come out for this fight.

“But it’s too much, so I thought I’d kick it to the can. Oh, it is 100 per cent a tough decision because Love Island’s my root, that’s the reason why I’m standing here today.

“I got what I have because of Love Island, so it would have been good to go back on there, build my career, X, Y, Z, but sometimes you gotta take sacrifices and that’s one of my sacrifices.

“I had to kick the can and train hard ready for this fight.”
