Adam Hinshelwood made 109 first-team appearances for Brighton as a player alongside spells with Aldershot and Wycombe.

His performances for the Seagulls were rewarded with an England under-21 call-up in October 2004.

Peter Taylor included him for matches against Wales and Azerbaijan, with then Newcastle man Milner also named.

Milner was even on the scoresheet in a win over Wales, although Hinshelwood was an unused sub for both matches.
