MANCHESTER CITY’S owners have announced a new “football collaboration” with Istanbul Basaksehir.
The City Group and the Turkish club have released statements confirming that they have signed an agreement with the aim for “growth and success”.
The deal will see CFG provide Basaksehir with guidance on transfers, academy development and data-driven insights.
They will also offer football strategy and player screening support to them.
Basaksehir, who were Turkish champions in 2020, have now joined the long list of other clubs that CFG is either the majority or co-owner of.
As well as reigning Champions League Premier League title holders City, they also own Spanish top-flight outfit Girona.
