Uruguay were leading 2-1 deep into stoppage time when chaos erupted.

Colombia netted a dramatic 96th minute equaliser via Andres Gomez to spark mass celebrations from the visitors.

The crazy scenes saw the game not get back underway for four minutes and when it eventually did, Uruguay restored their lead in stunning fashion straight from kick-off.

Manchester United star Manuel Ugarte fired home the winner in the 101st minute – just 30 seconds after the restart.

All of the Uruguay team charged after him, with Nunez going via taunting Mina.

He ran up to his old Merseyside rival and celebrated by shouting in his face.

Nunez’s emotions were clearly running high as at full-time he was seen seemingly complaining about something to Colombia skipper and his Liverpool team-mate Luis Diaz.

The pair then exchanged a hug as the striker finally calmed down.
