RUBEN AMORIM is the standout contender for the Liverpool job.
That’s according to bookmakers Coral, who’ve installed the highly-rated Sporting Lisbon manager at odds-on 4/6 to succeed Jurgen Klopp at Anfield.

Xabi Alonso had previously occupied favouritism.
But he’s now been pushed out to a distant 12/1 after it was revealed that Alonso would be staying with Bundesliga leaders Bayer Leverkusen for one more season.
That all leaves the likes of Liverpool, Barcelona and Bayern Munich reassessing their managerial options.
And Ruben Amorim, 39, is considered the top target.
The Portuguese helped Sporting to their first league title in 19 years during his first season in charge in the 2020-21 season.
And they are on course to do it again this season having rebuilt the squad to cope with the departures of Pedro Porro, Matheus Nunes and Manuel Ugarte.
Liverpool have long seen Amorim as the next best choice after Xabi Alonso, but it’s claimed that the recent appointment of Michael Edwards has changed the club’s thinking.
There’s also reports that Barcelona view Amorim as the ideal replacement for the departing Xavi.
Roberto De Zerbi is next at 5/1, ahead of third-favourite Julian Nagelsmann at 7/1.
It gets a bit crowded with Pep Lijnders, Thomas Tuchel and Xabi Alonso all tied at 12/1.
