But his performances have been so poor that some of his team-mates have questioned why he regularly plays, according to Austrian newspaper Kronen Zeitung.

To make matters worse for Bajcetic, he was given a 1/10 rating by Krone following Salzburg’s 5-0 defeat to Sturm Graz on Sunday.

The newspaper described him as “looking like a foreign body” in midfield.

His team-mates all received the same rating following the dismal loss.

Last week, it was revealed that Bajcetic received a fine for being late to training ahead of a 4-0 Champions League defeat to Brest.

His team-mate, Bobby Clark, is also struggling to impress at the Red Bull Arena.

The teenager joined RB Salzburg from Liverpool in a £10million transfer this summer.

He followed former Reds assistant Pep Lijnders to Austria when he was appointed manager of the Red Bulls.
