JADON SANCHO faces an uncertain future after reportedly refusing to return to Old Trafford if boss Erik ten Hag remains in charge.
While Champions League runners up Borussia Dortmund are keen to re-sign Sancho on a permanent basis, they are unable to afford his £40-50m price tag.
The Mirror reports that Sancho is ready to go back to Manchester United – but only if Ten Hag leaves this summer.
The 24-year-old reignited his career during his Dortmund loan, after falling out with the United manager earlier in the season.
But the England international is reluctant to give up on his United career and still has an ambition to make it work.
However, there is also a feeling that Sancho will not have a future under current manager Ten Hag.

A row broke out after the Dutchman dropped Sancho from United’s matchday squad against Arsenal last September.
Ten Hag, 54, claimed after the match that Sancho had been axed due to his performances in training.
Sancho later refuted the allegation on social media, claiming to have been made a “scapegoat” – effectively calling his manager a liar in the process.
With Ten Hag insisting that the winger would have to apologise in order to return Sancho held firm – leaving the duo in a stalemate.

He was subsequently sent out on loan to back to his beloved Dortmund in January, with United forking out a third of his £290,000 weekly salary.
The German giants are eager to keep him, but are unlikely to be able to afford his £40-£50m fee.
United are happy to listen to offers but will not let the 23-cap England man go for less than 75 per cent of the £73million they paid Dortmund for him in 2021.
Ten Hag has also made his feelings clear recently by claiming publicly that United have been pleased to see the winger do well at Dortmund.
Elsewhere, Ten Hag is still waiting on his own future to be resolved with Sir Jim Ratcliffe carrying out an in-depth club review before deciding whether to stick with him or change managers.
