But Christoph Baumgartner and Marko Arnautovic both struck in the second half to seal the win for Das Team.
Poland needed Netherlands to beat France to remain in the tournament.

However, Oranje were held to a goalless draw.
Xavi Simons thought he had won it for Netherlands in the 69th minute, but his goal didn’t stand after Denzel Dumfries was deemed to be in an offside position.
Reacting to the disallowed strike, one fan took to social media to write: “Plot twist it’s just to knock Poland out of Euros.”
Speaking after his side’s 3-1 defeat, Poland boss Probierz said: “We started the match badly. We lost too many balls.
