FOOTBALL fans were quick to spot Toni Kroos’ “cold” reaction after Germany scored a late equaliser against Switzerland on Sunday.
The Euro 2024 hosts clinched a 1-1 draw thanks to a 92nd-minute strike from Niclas Fullkrug.
Dan Ndoye broke the deadlock 26 minutes into the match, putting Switzerland top of Group A temporarily.
However, Germany sealed the top spot after securing a point.
Fullkrug’s late goal proved to be crucial in deciding the team’s fate, but Kroos refused to get caught up in the celebrations.
While several Germany players ran to celebrate, Kroos simply started walking back to the halfway line.

Germany Euro 2024 guide
GERMANY’S reputation as tournament football’s greatest nation has taken a battering in recent years.
The hosts haven’t won a knockout game in eight years and the pressure is on for them to get it right in front of their home crowd.
MANAGER: Julian Nagelsmann
Bright, young and a bit of a maverick. The ex-Bayern Munich boss is known for his flashy outfits and arriving for training on a skateboard.
STAR MAN: Jamal Musiala
The 21-year-old former Chelsea star could have been playing for England and can make things happen out of nothing.
How Germany attack
Toni Kroos will typically drop deep to take the ball off the defence with the Germans then overloading the side of the pitch the ball is on.
That gives them the option of either passing through the congested area or attacking the other side with a crossfield ball to the man in space.
How Germany defend
Germany’s striker and the team’s five midfielders will form a diamond shape in the hope of preventing the opposition playing through the middle.
Should opponents then play the ball wide, the German full-backs will be expected to press high up the pitch in an attempt to win possession.

Against Switzerland he recorded the most touches (127), completed the most passes (98) and most passes in the final third (28), won possession more times than any other player (eight) and created the most chances (four).
The midfielder also broke the record for most completed passes in a European Championship group stage with 324.
Discussing Germany’s draw with Switzerland, manager Julian Nagelsmann said: “It’s always important to have players on the bench who can change games.
“We have players who can come in off the bench who are different. We need every player. They can be important for us in every situation.
“[Fullkrug] gives a good argument for both jobs – coming from the starting XI and off the bench. It’s good luck and bad luck for him that he is so good in that role.”
