The winger only managed a mere 12 goals and six assists in 82 games with the Red Devils until his public fallout with manager Erik ten Hag in September saw him getting exiled from the first team.

Ten Hag left him out of his squad for the crunch Premier League clash against Arsenal due to his “performances in training”.

The England international then hit back on social media claiming he was turned into a “scapegoat” by the Dutch tactician.

The 23-year-old couldn’t find his way back to the first team and that led to a return to Dortmund on loan.

The star striker spent a year in Germany playing with United’s struggling ace, who registered a whopping 50 goals and 64 assists in 137 appearances.
