THE Ghana FA is trying to persuade Manchester United youngster Kobbie Mainoo to switch international allegiance.
Mainoo has represented England in three different age groups, but he is yet to make his senior debut.
The 18-year-old is also eligible to represent Ghana, the homeland of his parents.
He regularly visits the country during his time off and the Ghana FA now want to persuade him to commit to the Black Stars.
Randy Abbey, a member of the executive council of Ghana FA, told The Times: “The Ghana Football Association is interested in monitoring, attracting, and persuading all eligible talents for its various national teams
“Kobbie is definitely one of such incredible talents, and the Association will love to work with him and many like him home and abroad.”
