Chelsea fans spot Cole Palmer’s lock screen as they gush ‘all you need to know about his mentality’


CHELSEA fans have praised Cole Palmer after spotting the lock screen image on his phone.

Palmer, 22, has enjoyed an outstanding debut season for Chelsea.

The midfielder, who joined the Blues in a £42.5million transfer from Manchester City last summer, has scored 22 goals and provided ten assists since the start of the Premier League campaign.

Palmer has been nominated for the Premier League’s Player of the Season and Young Player of the Season awards as a result.

And he is expected to be named on the shortlist for the PFA Players’ Player of the Year and Young Player of the year accolades.

The Chelsea ace has already set his sights on the PFA awards, as noticed by some eagle-eyed Blues fans.

Ahead of the club’s match against Brighton on Wednesday, Palmer was pictured walking into the dressing room with his phone in hand.

One fan zoomed in to the image to find that his lock screen was supposedly a picture of the PFA Players’ Player of the Year trophy.

It suggests the 22-year-old is targeting the silverware at this year’s ceremony.

One fan took to X to react, writing: “Palmer’s lockscreen… He’s going for the big one.”

Chelsea went on to win the match against Brighton 2-1 thanks to goals from Palmer and Christopher Nkunku.

Palmer is also poised to join Gareth Southgate’s England squad in Germany this summer for Euro 2024.
