Chelsea extend Fernandez and Mudryk contracts despite pair having combined total of THIRTEEN years left on current deals

CHELSEA have triggered contract extensions for Enzo Fenandez and Mykhailo Mudryk, meaning both players are tied to the club for at least another seven years.

Mudryk joined the Blues in a £97million transfer from Shakhtar Donetsk and agreed a seven-and-a-half year deal upon his arrival in west London.

Meanwhile, Fernandez penned an eight-and-a-half year contract following his £107m move from Benfica.

Both players have now had another year added onto their respective contracts.

Mudryk’s is set to expire in 2031 when he is 30, while Fernandez is tied to the club until 2032 when he will be 31.
