SKY SPORTS commentator Peter Drury took social media by storm with a comical pun after the Premier League derby between Liverpool and Manchester United.
Drury, 56, covered the Reds’ 3-0 victory over United at Old Trafford.
The Merseysiders’ winning streak under new manager Arne Slot was extended to three games, while goalkeeper Alisson kept a third clean sheet in a row.
Drury appeared to get a little carried away amid Liverpool’s stunning start to the campaign as he went on to praise Slot.
And the journalist decided to have a little fun with the use of an innocent pun.
Drury said: “The Slot machine has paid out its first big jackpot.”
