FLOYD MAYWEATHER returns to the ring TONIGHT for a highly anticipated rematch against John Gotti III.
The two last went head-to-head in an exhibition bout in Florida in June 2023, with the fight ending in chaos.
Referee Kenny Bayliss stopped the bout in the sixth round and declared it a no-contest, which led to Gotti III charging at Mayweather, prompting a mass brawl in the ring.
Each fighter’s respective camps stormed the ring with several punches thrown in crazy scenes – leading to both competitors being escorted out of the venue.

What happened after the fight stopped?
Following the brawl, Mayweather and Gotti eventually had to be escorted out of the arena.
But the rivalling camps continued to scrap by the ring and backstage until police were forced to intervene.
A cop squad forced fans out of the arena as tensions boiled over inside the Fla Live Arena in Fort Lauderdale.

It was all going so well last time before the previous match ended in a mass brawl.
Mayweather wouldn’t like to read this but the fight was very even.

Once the bout was waved off, Gotti III, the grandson of organised crime boss John Gotti, charged at Mayweather, prompting a mass brawl in the ring.
Each fighter’s respective camps stormed the ring with several punches thrown in crazy scenes – leading to both competitors being escorted out of the venue.
Gotti III was slapped with a six-month suspension for his antics in Florida and now returns to the ring for the rematch with Mayweather having served his ban.
But that is a thing of the past and the boxers finally get to put hands on one another again.
However, there is a very entertaining undercard to get through first.
