Fans says it’s ‘gotta be a joke’ after luxury VIP packages go on sale for $2million to watch Mike Tyson vs Jake Paul


FANS have slammed the tickets for Mike Tyson vs Jake Paul after it was announced that one VIP package would cost a whopping $2million (£1.6m).

The cross-generation fight is taking place at the AT&T Stadium in Texas on July 20.

Fans have a keen eye on the highly anticipated event, but seemingly not enough to splash out millions of pounds.

Jake Paul’s promotional company, Most Valuable Promotions, have announced a number of high-end VIP packages including the £1.6m ‘MVP Owner’s Package’.

The incredible package will offer “unparalleled seats, access and amenities during fight week and on fight night”.

Those who are willing to fork out the cash for the insane package will bag themselves two ringside apron seats (owner’s seats), four first row floor seats, and four second row floor seats for the event.

And the boxing superfan who does buy the package won’t just have a great view of the fight, but also the weigh in.

Paul’s MVP company revealed that the purchaser of the ticket will get a place ON STAGE for the fight’s weigh in.

The fans won’t have to worry about finding somewhere to stay in Texas either with a two-night stay in the luxury fight hotel also included in the eye-watering price.

Fans couldn’t believe the £1.6m price tag, regardless of what was included, and took to social media to slam the extortionate experience.

One wrote: “Wow, what a waste of $2million!”

While another added: “$2million?! This gotta to be a joke!”.

It’s not just accommodation and a front row seat that is up for grabs in the package though.

The fans who splash the cash with also get to meet both Paul and Tyson as well as getting a whole host of signed merchandise.

While they can kick back in a private greenroom for the fight with their own open bar full of top-shelf booze.
