AMIR KHAN is being lined up for a return to boxing with the potential of a huge fight against KSI.
The British boxing legend retired after his final 2022 defeat to bitter rival Kell Brook.
But Khan actually failed a drug test – taken on the night of the grudge bout – for a banned substance ostarine.
He served a two-year suspension in retirement and his argument of not knowingly taking the prohibited substance was accepted.
Khan, 37, has kept the door open to a comeback after being linked with a fight in Saudi Arabia against Manny Pacquiao, 45.
But now the world of crossover boxing looks to be calling for the 2004 Olympic silver medallist.

As YouTuber-turned boxer Slim Albaher revealed Misfits Boxing – home to celebrity-style bouts – offered him a fight with Khan.
He posted online: “I was offered Amir Khan. One of the best fighters to lace up the gloves from the UK.
“They really doing Anything they can to keep me away from KSI.”
Albaher was told the winner between him and Khan would be guaranteed a fight with KSI, who the social media star continues to call out.

But he claimed the offer of Khan – a former world champion – was a clear effort to try and prevent him from ever facing KSI.
Albaher is 7-0 as a boxer with five knockouts, most recently stopping TikToker Salt Papi in October.
Later that night, KSI was beaten for the first time in the ring, losing a controversial decision against Tyson Fury’s 25-year-old brother Tommy.
KSI , 30, has not returned since but confirmed after time out of the sport that he will come back this year.
