The two foes faced off as PSG played against a Saudi Arabia All-Star XI.
The game kicked off at 8pm local time at the King Fahd International Stadium, Saudi Arabia.
Messi latched onto a lofted through ball from Neymar and flicked the ball past the on-rushing goalkeeper David Ospina.
The match was Ronaldo’s first at at non-international level since he left Manchester United in November.
PSG came out on top in a chaotic contest, winning 5-4 with Ronaldo scoring twice.

The Portuguese striker had his contract mutually terminated after his explosive interview with Piers Morgan.
He subsequently joined the Saudi club Al-Nassr on a free transfer.
He was selected alongside players such as Odion Ighalo, Anderson Talisca and former Arsenal goalkeeper Ospina.
