TODD BOEHLY is on track to spend over £520million on transfers in just seven months at Chelsea.
That’s by splurging on FIVE new players in the January window.
Fans feared the days of heavy spending at Stamford Bridge were over after Roman Abramovich sold up last year.
But American businessman Boehly showed he’s ready to invest by spending £270m on signings last summer.
Wesley Fofana, Marc Cucurella, Raheem Sterling, Kalidou Koulibaly and Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang arrived to boost Chelsea’s first-team squad.
And there were plenty of signings to strengthen the youth sides too, with Carney Chukwuemeka and Cesare Casadei arriving for sizeable fees.

HOW TO GET FREE BETS ON FOOTBALL
The tournament’s Best Young Player has a whopping £105m release clause, forcing most teams to abandon their pursuit.
But Chelsea are ready to pay a bit more money in THREE instalments to secure a deal AND beat Financial Fair Play restrictions.
Should a deal fail to materialise, Chelsea are also thought to be interested in Alexis Mac Allister – although Brighton have made it clear they have no intention of selling.
Borussia Dortmund’s Jude Bellingham and West Ham captain Declan Rice are also on Chelsea’s list, but any move will have to wait until the summer.
MYKHAILO MUDRYK – £88m
Ukrainian ace is the latest superstar to interest Boehly, despite widely being tipped to join Arsenal.
Chelsea are now targeting the Shakhtar Donetsk star despite previously being linked with AC Milan’s Rafael Leao.
And Chelsea’s willingness to meet Shakhtar’s £88m asking price – albeit in instalments – could give them the edge over the Gunners.
BENOIT BADIASHILE – £35m
Chelsea’s defence has not looked the same since Antonio Rudiger left on a free transfer to Real Madrid.
But Monaco star Badiashile is the ideal man to fix Graham Potter’s backline.
The left-footer is already a seasoned operator at 21 and for £35m could be a real bargain for the Blues.
DAVID DATRO FOFANA – £10m
Already being hailed as the new Didier Drogba, Ivory Coast striker Fofana is the first signing Chelsea have made this month.
He was a target for Potter at Brighton but now incredibly finds himself at one of the world’s biggest clubs.
Whether Fofana plays a role this term remains to be seen, but he comes at a snip and is sure to have an impact in the future.
JOAO FELIX – £10m
What may seem like a mind-boggling bargain for an elite-level player is actually just what it will cost to take Felix on loan for five months.
Atletico Madrid are ready to lose the player until the summer in the hope that he rediscovers his old form.

And Chelsea are reportedly in the mix to bring Felix to the Premier League on a short-term deal.
But Arsenal and Man Utd could yet scupper the Blues’ hopes.
