Three-time Champions League winner set to be unemployed at 27 putting Prem giants on red alert over free transfer


MARCO ASENSIO is already being linked with a string of Premier League giants as the Real Madrid legend heads for a free transfer this summer.

Arsenal, Chelsea and Tottenham admire the 35-cap Spain midfielder, 27.

Talks with Real over a new contract began in December but appear to have ended in failure.

The three-time Champions League winner wanted more regular starts under Carlo Ancelotti.

And although the Italian boss has insisted Asensio is a key player, he has still mainly used the playmaker only from the bench.

It’s claimed PSG are also interested in the stylish performer.

But the strongest demand for the Bernabeu super-sub seems to come from the English top flight.

Arsenal were understood to have held negotiations over Asensio earlier this year.

And it’s thought Luis Enrique would also be keen if the ex-Barcelona chief took over at Tottenham.
