GARY NEVILLE completely disagrees with Jamie Carragher and says Tottenham should keep Antonio Conte so he can help deliver a top four finish.
And that led to a blazing Twitter row between the much-loved Sky Sports pundits.
The Italian delivered a damning ten-minute rant after his team drew 3-3 at relegation threatened Southampton on Saturday.
Spurs were leading 3-1 before they were pegged back late on to suffer a huge blow in their quest for a top four finish as James Ward-Prowse equalised with a penalty in stoppage time.
Conte, who is out of contract at the end of the campaign with talks over an extension almost non-existent, has so far failed in his quest to end the club’s 15-year trophy drought.
And after his angry tirade against both his players, the owner and chairman, it seems highly-unlikely that he will be given another opportunity next season with Carragher urging the club to sack him now.

Manchester United legend Neville then took to Twitter this morning to say: “Many saying Conte should go this morning. I’d keep him right where he is and make him do his job.”
However, that led to a long back-and-forth on social media between him and Carragher which ended up with Neville having to defend his record as part-owner of Salford City.
Liverpool icon Carragher accused Neville of double-standards after Richie Wellens was sacked at Salford after publicly blasting his players.
But when he asked why the same should not apply at Tottenham, Neville hit back with: “Errrr Conte and Spurs can finish top 4 . We couldn’t!”

Tottenham are currently fourth in the Premier League, a point behind United, and know their only route back into the Champions League is with a top four finish.
Carragher then posted a shot of the League Two table at the time Wellens was sacked which showed them just outside of the play-offs as he disputed the claim that they could not be promoted at that time.
That led to Neville replying: “Conte is in 4th place we were in free fall 6 points off play offs in 9th with largest budget in league! I do know I was watching.”
Neville then continued to defend his Salford record, which included four promotions and winning the EFL Trophy, before taking a backseat.
He also highlighted United’s lack of silverware during that time period too, only for Carragher to say: “Battering Man Utd to win an argument with me about Salford & Ed Woodward.”
