JURGEN KLOPP has revealed that Alisson was “close to tears” after keeping a clean sheet last night.
Liverpool grabbed a rare shut-out during their 1-0 victory over Fulham at Anfield.
The victory, which came courtesy of Mo Salah’s 39th minute penalty, was their fifth on the bounce – having put together some momentum in April.
They hadn’t kept a clean sheet in any of the previous four victories, however, conceding seven goals despite their wins.
Klopp’s men last kept a clean sheet on April 4, when they drew 0-0 at Chelsea, managed by caretaker boss Bruno at the time.
And the feat appeared to make Alisson emotional after the game.

Liverpool’s win saw them climb to within four points of Manchester United in fourth.

On his side’s late season form, Klopp revealed: “That’s what I said, we have to try to do something we can use.
“Something we can build on in the next season. That’s exactly what we did and I’m pleased with that.”
