KYLIAN MBAPPE is not ruling out a shock transfer to Liverpool next summer as he looks to quit Paris Saint-Germain, a report claims.
The French captain’s contract for the Ligue 1 side is set to expire at the end of the season.
It appeared for most of the summer the 24-year-old would depart PSG after he announced he would not extend his contract.
Mbappe’s announcement meant he was banished and forced to train with the club’s so-called “undesirables”.
Upon recently returning to Luis Enrique’s squad the Frenchman has scored five goals in just three league appearances.
However, French outlet L’Equipe confirmed that Liverpool remains an option for Mbappe next year.

The French giants hope to convince him to stay this season and then depart to Madrid after that, preferably after signing a new deal so he doesn’t leave for free.
Mbappe is PSG’s all-time top scorer with 213 goals in 261 appearances.
He has also contributed 98 assists.
The report claimed: “He could be tempted if a bid were to be made by the Anfield club.”

The option comes amid Al-Ittihad’s interest in Mohamed Salah.
Liverpool have been a long-term admirer of the French icon and even sent a delegation to meet with him at his previous club Monaco.
Meanwhile, the report claimed Mpbappe is an “admirer” of boss Jurgen Klopp and refused to enter talks over a big money move from Saudi Arabia.
Real Madrid, who was the star forward’s dream team did not make a bid at any point this summer for the 2018 World Cup champ.
