A FORMER Premier League star looks unrecognisable without his iconic ponytail.
The 42-year-old made his name in England with Man City before ending his renowned football career with Malaga back in 2017.
Now the four-time Bundesliga champion has been pictured with a new short and smart look after ditching his majestic long locks.
He spent three years with the English champions after joining in 2013, winning the title once and the League Cup twice.
The 51-cap Argentina international has now won the title in his first full season as manager of his boyhood club River Plate.
He spent the beginning of his coaching career as an assistant at Malaga and then progressed to manage Bayern U19 and Bayern II.

Just one month after obtaining his UEFA Pro coaching licence, the 2013/14 Premier League champion took on his first managerial role at River Plate in November 2023.

So far his management career at River Plate has swung by perfectly as they lifted the Primera Divison title with two games to spare.
Prior to his coaching career in 2016, he was released from Man City before signing a one-year contract with RCD Espanyol.
He was released again after two games and headed to finish his career at Malaga.
