Fans joke ‘that aged well’ as West Ham fan hurls abuse at Newcastle stars walking through London before shocking loss

WEST HAM supporters who hurled abuse at Newcastle stars before their game on Wednesday have been mocked by rival fans.

In a video posted online, one fan shouted: “I hope you get battered tonight boys! Come on you Irons!”

While others behind the camera could be heard giggling, the supporter yelled: “You’re gonna get f***ing battered. F***ing battered.”

Another said: “F*** the Geordies” while one bellowed: “F*** off back up north.”

But they were left with egg on their face after Eddie Howe’s side blew West Ham away, winning 5-1 to leave the East Londoners perilously close to the relegation zone.

And another commented: “That worked out well ey.”

Pressure is now mounting on West Ham and manager David Moyes, with his side outside of the relegation zone only on goal different.

But SunSport understands there are no plans to change the manager at the moment.

Moyes will now prepare the team for Saturday’s short trip across London to face Fulham.

West Ham have picked up just 27 points from their 28 Premier League games this term.
