RAFAEL VAN DER VAART has taken criticism of Fulham’s “terrible, extremely tiny” dressing rooms to a bizarre level.
The former midfielder reckons ex-Tottenham team-mate Luka Modric would be “taking a s*** while I was getting my legs taped next to him”.
That jibe, which was said on Dutch TV, makes Van der Vaart something of a party pooper after Fulham’s impressive return to the Premier League this season.
But his blast follows previous negative comments about the facilities from Jurgen Klopp.
The German even spoke out at a press conference early this term – when his Liverpool side weren’t even playing the Londoners!
Klopp said: “I love every football game. Even Fulham where the dressing rooms are so small! They build a new stand with no space for a bigger dressing room!”

Van der Vaart was with Spurs from 2008-2012, with Modric alongside him for the last two years of that spell.
And whereas VDV arrived at Tottenham from Real Madrid, the Croatian legend went onto the Spaniards afterwards, where at the age of 37 he remains a key player.
But Van der Vaart clearly still remembers the small things they shared as well as the bigger ones.
As translated by Dutch football news account AFC Ajax, he said: Van der Vaart: “Fulham’s dressing room is terrible. It’s extremely tiny.

“Luka Modric would be taking a s*** while I was getting my legs taped next to him.”
The s*** then hit the Van as he indicated he wouldn’t take such facilities sitting down – by adding his cringy toilet reference to Modric.
But one fan responded on social media: “Has he given a thought that maybe Fulham want to make the away team as uncomfortable as possible. Unsettling them before the game?”
And another said of the 40-year-old now-retired star: “Bro just randomly dissing Fulham” – followed by a crying emoji.
