BEN FOSTER will be the Rest of the World’s professional goalkeeper at this year’s Soccer Aid.
It will be the first time the former Manchester United shot-stopper has appeared in the iconic charity match.
Foster had a terrific career in the top flight of English football making 390 appearance and had spells at the likes of Watford, West Brom, Birmingham as well as the Red Devils.
He also holds an all-time Premier League record for the highest number of saves made in the division.
But does Ben Foster still play for Wrexham?

The 40-year-old played eight crucial games in Wrexham’s title run-in, and he certainly made his mark.
Most notably, Foster saved a last-minute penalty against promotion rivals Notts County to extend the Red Dragons lead at the top of the National League.
Wrexham got their Hollywood ending to the season and were promoted back to the Football League after a 15-year absence.
Following their historic triumph, owners Ryan Reynolds and Rob McElhenney have been hoping Foster will delay his retirement and extend his stay at the Racecourse for least another year.

Wrexham released their retained list following their promotion back to the Football League and in a statement they said: “A discussion will take place with Ben Foster to establish if his intention is to return to retirement or continue playing.”
What did Ben Foster say about his Wrexham future?
Speaking at the end of last season, Foster said: “We won the league and did what we needed to do. I did what I needed to do anyway.
“This is a special club. Am I going to do another year?
“Oh my god I do not know. I’m genuinely going to have to think about this, it’s as simple as that.
“I’ve never felt this much love or welcomed as much as I have here at Wrexham.
“I’ve really enjoyed my eight games, we’ll see as simple as that.”
What did Ryan Reynolds give to Ben Foster after Wrexham’s promotion to the EFL?
Ryan Reynolds is commonly known for playing comical MARVEL superhero Deadpool.
And after giving away one of the original costume’s gloves to a terminally ill Wrexham fan, he handed the other to Foster as a promotion gift.
But in true comedic fashion, Reynolds also gave Foster Deadpool’s underwear.
The goalie told Fozcast: “This is incredible right, so Ryan Reynolds text me the day of the game to say ‘can I have your shirt?’
“I was like ‘yeah cool’ and he was like ‘cool because I’ve got something for you as well’.
“I was like ‘what on earth’s this’ so anyway he texted me yesterday and said ‘I forgot to tell you what it is’.
“He says ‘I was going through my memorabilia the other day of Deadpool and I found the original gloves that I wore in the film. I’m also gifting you the Deadpool underway, which to be fair, smells better than the shirt you gave me’.”
