And some of that has been reinvested in the squad, with Gustavo Hamer arriving from Coventry City for £15million.

In their opening Premier League clash, they failed to hit the back of the net at home to Crystal Palace in a 1-0 defeat.
On Friday night, they lost their second game in a row after falling to a 2-1 loss against Nottingham Forest.

He was a cult hero at Liverpool with a habit of scoring important goals.

He most notably scored twice, including the winning goal, in the 2019 Champions League semi-final in a comeback against Barcelona.
He was also a part of the squad that won the 2019–20 Premier League the following season, Liverpool’s first league title for 30 years.
After eight years at Anfield, Origi was allowed to leave the club in the 2022 transfer window.
