CHELSEA will host Championship side Blackburn Rovers in a Carabao Cup last-16 clash on Wednesday night.

The Blues will be looking to get back to winning ways following their disappointing 2-0 defeat to Brentford on the weekend.

Chelsea overcame high-flying Brighton in the Carabao Cup third round after Nicolas Jackson’s goal separated the two sides.

Meanwhile, Blackburn sit 12th in the Championship after an indifferent start to the season for Jon Dahl Tomasson’s men.

Rovers have been in superb form in the League Cup, scoring 13 goals over the course of the second and third rounds of the competition.

Chelsea and Blackburn last met in May 2012, when the Lancashire outfit were in the Premier League.
