CHELSEA and Manchester United supporters are facing travel chaos for their respective fixtures at Liverpool and Arsenal this week.
That is due to Avanti West Coast delaying the release of advance tickets between London and the North West.
The train company announced earlier this month that engineering works would have a huge impact on travel between all routes to and from London’s Euston station.
That engineering work has prevented fans from booking tickets for this weekend as the train timetables have yet to be finalised.
Chelsea’s trip to Liverpool on Saturday lunchtime and United’s clash at Arsenal on Sunday are two of the biggest fixtures in the Premier League calendar.
And those wishing to attend the two high-profile matches have been impacted by the release of the tickets.

But both sets of travelling supporters have so far been unable to book any advanced train tickets.
Avanti West Coast were due to release tickets on Monday once a timetable had been confirmed.
However, the Daily Mail claims that the company informed them yesterday that is now “likely to be later in the week”.
Avanti has been blasted over the recent months with Prime Minister Rishi Sunak even taking aim at their services.

He even warned that they could be stripped of the West Coast route due to its troubles.
Sunak says the Government is “closely monitoring” Avanti after they were controversially awarded a new six month contract renewal which will run to April 1.
That was in spite of furious passengers facing cancelled services, overcrowded trains, reduced timetables and advanced ticket release delays.
Avanti said in December that a new timetable would result in “reliable” services running between London, Birmingham, Liverpool, Manchester, Edinburgh and Glasgow.
