BLACKBURN have braced themselves for an approach from Dutch giants Feyenoord for boss Jon Dahl Tomasson.
The highly-rated Dane is firmly in the frame for the job if it comes up.
He played for the club twice and one of his sons is still at their academy.
Tomasson did a fine job at Rovers in his first season.
But the lure of a team close to his heart would be hard to resist.
Blackburn had ear-marked Swansea’s Russell Martin to replace him.

Yet Southampton are close to appointing Martin to head off interest in him from Leicester.
He is entering the last year of his contract with the Swans and could leave if the £450,000 compensation is paid.
The current Feyenoord manager, Arne Slot, has been heavily linked with a move to Tottenham in recent weeks.
Spurs are on the hunt for a new manager following the departure of Antonio Conte.
