ARSENAL will be hoping to get back to winning way against bottom-of-the-table Southampton on Friday night.
The Gunners’ Premier League title charge took a hit last weekend after squandering a 2-0 lead against West Ham to draw 2-2 at the London Stadium.
Arsenal star man Bukayo Saka missed a penalty to restore the Gunners’ two-goal cushion and make it 3-1 just after half-time.
Three minutes later Jarrod Bowen equalised to make it 2-2 and dented Arteta’s side’s lead at the top of the table.
Southampton go into the game at the Emirates on the back of three straight defeats in the Premier League.
Crystal Palace the latest side to pile mystery on the Saints after the Eagles walked out 2-0 winners at St Mary’s last weekend.
