EX-FORMULA ONE star Jos Verstappen was involved in a high speed crash which left the front of his car wrecked.
Verstappen, the father of three-time F1 champion Max, drove into a barrier ahead of his Spanish rally car debut.
The 51-year-old was warming up for the Rally La Nucia when the crash occurred.
Verstappen was driving downhill in a Skoda Fabis RS in testing when he hit the barrier on the side of the road after heading into a right-hand bend too fast.
It resulted in the front of the Red Bull sponsored vehicle being heavily damaged.
The metal barrier prevented Verstappen and co-driver Renaud Jamoul from flying off the cliff.
