PRICHARD COLON updated fans with an inspirational message following his life-changing bleed on the brain.
The former champion boxer suffered the heartbreaking injury in a 2015 fight against Terrel Williams.
After taking repeated punches to the back of the head, he complained of feeling dizzy in the ring then later collapsed.
Colon was placed into a 221-day coma at hospital and was diagnosed with a 1.5cm left-sided subdural hematoma on the brain.
He underwent a complex surgery to reduce brain swelling and clear the hematoma.
Nearly eight years on, the Puerto Rican needs constant support and care from his mother Nieves as specialists oversee his ongoing recovery.
