ALEXANDRE LACAZETTE hailed Emile Smith Rowe as his ideal No10 – the ‘present and future’ of Arsenal.
The France striker gushed praise on the England playmaker in a clip posted from the Gunners’ winter break in Dubai.
Smith Rowe, 21, won a five-year contract after his breakthrough 2020-21.
And as a key Gunner this season he has added eight goals and two assists in 19 Premier League games.
The Londoner’s first two Three Lions caps came three months ago.
And he has just topped the Prem’s half-term stats for his scoring ratio compared to the number of goals he was expected to get.
Not bad when you consider Liverpool frontman Mo Salah was down in fourth, followed by Manchester City stylists Kevin de Bruyne and Bernardo Silva.
Now Arsenal have released a behind-the-scenes video showing Smith Rowe’s team-mates agree with the hype plus the facts and figures.

Lacazette approached him as he did stretching exercises with a trainer and said: “He’s got his own PT every time. His own physio, his own PT.”
The 30-year-old Frenchman then grabbed Smith Rowe to add: “What a guy! My number 10!
“The future. The present and the future. What a player.”
In contrast, Lacazette is tipped for a summer exit when his contract expires.
