Watford 1 Burnley 2: Clarets come from behind to seal vital win with late goals and boost Premier League survival hopes

BURNLEY boosted their survival hopes by completing an incredible comeback at Watford.

The Clarets were trailing 1-0 for most of the game before Jack Cork found an equaliser with seven minutes left.

But Josh Brownhill fired in a second moments later to stun Watford and give Burnley a huge promotion boost.

The Clarets are now five points clear of Everton, who have two games in hand.

But the first of those comes in a tough clash against Chelsea tomorrow.

And Burnley’s celebrations at the final whistle showed how big their win at Vicarage Road could turn out to be.
