Moment Rangers legend Kenny Miller had furious Masters bust-up with Celtic icon Rab Douglas in fiery Old Firm clash

KENNY MILLER and Rab Douglas proved that the Old Firm is always a fiery affair – even at the Masters!

The rivals got involved in a heated exchange during what was a typically feisty 2-2 draw between the two Glasgow rivals.

Miller and Kris Boyd found the net for the Gers while Carlton Cole and Petrov scored for Celtic.

And the Gers striker was trying to find a winner in the dying seconds only to be denied by Douglas.

Something clearly went on as the pair continued to clash after the chance had gone.

But referee Craig Thomson awarded a foul, which provoked a fuming reaction from Miller.

The eventual draw meant that Rangers still had a chance of qualifying for the final, but needed Man Utd to lose in their final tie against the champions – but it wasn’t to be.

While Liverpool won the overall crown – the draw was Celtic’s only point of the evening, with Rangers also managing a win over Manchester United 4-2 after goals from Barry Ferguson, Mols and a Pedro Mendes double.

The Cole strike doubled his tally in a Hoops shirt as he only scored one during his short stint in Glasgow under Ronny Deila.

Meanwhile, Ange Postecoglou believes Celtic’s board trust him to bring in the right players.

The Aussie came in a year ago on the recommendation of former chief Peter Lawwell.

Postecoglou proved to be an outstanding choice as Neil Lennon’s permanent successor — winning the title and Premier Sports Cup.

That success hammered home the 56-year-old’s credentials.

Referrring to chief executive Michael Nicholson and finance director Chris McKay, the Hoops gaffer said: “The whole club has been really supportive of me.

“With Michael and Chris and the board and the key decision-makers, I think there is a fair bit of trust.”
