ERIK TEN HAG has demanded his shambolic Manchester United squad comes in for extra training after the 4-0 defeat to Brentford.
The players were due to have a day off following the trip to London.
But SunSport understands Ten Hag is forcing his players into Carrington for an extra training session.
The Red Devils suffered a humiliating defeat to Brentford on Saturday after conceding four goals in the opening 35 minutes.
It is United’s second successive loss after the 2-1 loss to Brighton in their opening Premier League match, and Ten Hag slammed his players after the game.
He said: “It’s rubbish, and it’s poor. We need higher standards than that, that’s clear.

“We have to deliver and we didn’t. We have to change, that’s quite clear.
“35 minutes you concede four goals. It is not possible. The team has to take responsibility. I feel really sorry for the fans. We let them down.
“You have to take responsibility on the pitch. As a team and as individuals, that’s what we didn’t do.
“What I asked them to do is play with belief and play with responsibility for their performance. That is what we didn’t do.”

Goalkeeper David De Gea, who was at fault for two goals, agreed with his manager and suggested his side are suffering a hangover from last season.
Following defeat to the Bees the Spaniard said: “Of course, there have been some difficult seasons and probably, it’s still in our minds.
“When something goes wrong people get panicky. It’s difficult. But we have to learn, we have a new manager and some new players. We need to be more positive, keep learning and improve.
“It’s about winning games. As soon as we win one game, two games, we’re going to start feeling better and more positive.”
De Gea also gave an insight into Ten Hag’s mindset at half-time as he tried to turn the game around.
Asked what the dutchman said, De Gea replied: “Unacceptable, what we were doing on the pitch. Nothing else to be honest. It was horrible.
“We have to stick together as a team now, train even harder and even better, I can’t say more to be honest.”
