KYLIAN MBAPPE spent two hours chatting with Liverpool owner John W. Henry on the American’s private jet, according to reports.
Liverpool have long held an interest in Mbappe, and tried desperately to sign him in 2017.
Five years ago, Henry whisked his private jet over to the French Riviera in a bid to impress the then-Monaco star.
According to L’Equipe, the 73-year-old arranged for the plane to fly over Nice for two hours while he attempted to woo the French star.
His mission was ultimately unsuccessful, with Mbappe opting to join PSG instead.
But Liverpool could one day return for the unsettled star.

Bombshell reports yesterday claimed that Mbappe wants to LEAVE PSG – just five months after penning a new contract.
The 23-year-old is claimed to feel “betrayed” by his club – after they failed to sign Robert Lewandowski, Bernardo Silva and Milan Skriniar.
It’s also alleged that Mbappe wanted PSG to flog team-mate Neymar – having reportedly clashed with the Brazilian.
It has now emerged that the £650,000-a-week contract Mbappe signed in May was in fact a two-year deal – with the 2018 World Cup winner possessing the option to extend it for a third.

Real Madrid would be the hot favourites to sign Mbappe, having previously had a £154million bid rejected.
But PSG will reportedly refuse to sanction a move to Madrid – handing Liverpool a chance.
Boss Jurgen Klopp has previously admitted that his team can’t afford Mbappe – but their kit sponsors Nike could help.
Klopp, 55, is known to be a huge admirer of the PSG superstar.
He told RMC Sport in 2018: “I love him, to be honest. What a player he is and a nice lad as well, so he’s a really good kid. What a player, what a player.

“Everyone knows him since he was 16, 17, when he impressed in Monaco’s youth teams, and I saw videos of him when he was 17 and he destroyed defensive lines as he is doing now.
“He’s at an unbelievable level of consistency at that age. He’s an outstanding player, that’s clear, but he can deliver, deliver and deliver, which shows he’s really good educated boy and he knows what he is doing.”
